Each market will close early at 1 p.m. ET on the following days:
The NYSE and NASDAQ are open Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. However, there are nine trading holidays when the markets are closed. Nasdaq observes the holidays below and will send Trader Alerts to remind customers when the Market will be closed or will have modified hours.
As of Tuesday's close, the S&P 500, which closed Monday at its highest level since April 2022, moved even higher, as did the Nasdaq.
